The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the federal workplace in many ways, including employee attendance and use of leave. Leave expert Barbara Haga will guide you through the tough spots as agencies continue to confront pandemic-related issues. Emergency paid sick leave, medical exams, and return to work certifications will be covered. Ms. Haga also will discuss FMLA matters, including serious health conditions and medical certifications. The use of sick leave for communicable disease concerns will be explained. The workshop also will address the proper use of enforced leave.
