Understand the additional testing technologies available today that can assure operational readiness of the network cabling infrastructure as well as save time when troubleshooting when things go wrong. During the one-hour session, we will set the stage regarding Intelligent Buildings, including comparison of older traditional buildings with Intelligent Buildings. We will discuss the Internet of Things and the devices driving demand for growth in infrastructure. The foundational certification testing will be discussed before moving into the additional testing considerations for Extended Distance cabling, Ethernet connectivity, Power over Ethernet, as well as addressing the connection itself to confirm all is as expected and how to troubleshoot if it is not.
