The ongoing War in Ukraine fundamentally redefines the paradigm of tactical communications, prompting an immediate evolution in the US Army’s Concept of Signal Support. In an environment where radio frequency (RF) emissions and thermal signatures immediately give away unit positions and invite precision targeting within a matter of minutes, the challenge of deploying resilient, survivable command posts while satisfying requirements for high-bandwidth data and video becomes increasingly complex.
