Sara Snyder is the Regional Director and Chief Administrative Judge of the Merit Systems Protection Board’s Western Regional Office in Oakland, California. Before her appointment to this position, she was the Deputy Managing Counsel for the U.S. Postal Service’s Pacific Area Law Office in San Francisco. Earlier in her career, she served as agency counsel to the Postal Service in Philadelphia, PA and Washington, D.C., where she litigated employment law matters before the Board, the EEOC, and Federal District Court, and provided legal advice to management clients on issues ranging from Federal employment law to Federal contracting to torts and records management. Judge Snyder is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
