U.S. Office of Special Counsel
Eric Johnson is an attorney with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel’s Hatch Act Unit. The Hatch Act imposes certain limitations on the political activities of federal, state, and local government employees. Eric advises on the applicability of the Hatch Act, investigates alleged violations, and prosecutes violations before the Merit Systems Protection Board. Prior to joining OSC, Eric worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce in the Ethics Law and Programs Division. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
