Robert Basile has over 20 years experience in the networking industry, specializing in fiber optic networks and wireless technologies. During his career, Mr. Basile has held a variety of positions at Motorola, Google, and Corning including integration, development, sales, engineering and architecture. Mr. Basile holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a regular speaker at industry events and has been a part of some of the largest converged network deployments in the world. Mr. Basile has consistently been a thought leader on the ways to drive fiber deeper into the network and future-proofing delivery of IP based services through software-defined networks.
