With 35+ years of experience working in the automation industry, Ken Crawford has quickly become a leader in the field of Industrial Automation Intelligence. As Principal Engineer and Chief Innovation Officer Ken led many IoT and Automation teams at General Electric before becoming the Dir. of Automation at Weidmuller USA, where he currently leads the Automation business. He is charged with growing the automation business through IIoT offerings, PAC level controllers, Weidmuller’s open architected u-OS, Industrial Ethernet, Power Management and services. His customer and industry experience suits him well in assessing and meeting customer needs across a variety of industries for solutions leading to smarter manufacturing all the way to AI-enabled solutions. An experienced and accomplished Engineer, Ken has over 150 design wins, 7+ patents, and multiple design and innovation awards. Ken received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Richmond.
