Charles Wilson, President, opened Wilson Technology Group, Inc in 2004 and brings 50 plus years of telecommunications and Information Technology industry design, implementation and operations management to the company and its customers. Chuck, as he likes to be called, was raised in Georgia and arrived in Florida as a young man in the early 70’s when he began his ITS career with Southern Bell. Thirteen years later he joined Burnup and Sims where he became a highly accomplished designer of voice and data networks. This was followed with the University of Miami where he provided network design and project management. In 1999 he was was with Intermedia Communications where he was hired as Field Operations Regional Sr. Applications Engineer. Following his promotion to Sr. Product Manager, his leadership skills were crucial in developing and managing national Wide Area Frame Relay Networks, ATM Networks and VoIP projects for Field Operations.
Chuck has served four terms on the Board of BICSI where he represented the entire Southeast Region. Currently he sits on BICSI’s Codes and Standards committees.
He holds the BICSI’s RCDD, NTS, and OSP credentials along with Low Voltage Electrical Limited Energy/LV License in Florida and Georgia.
Chuck has served as Co-Chair of Habitat for Humanity of Hernando County and serves on the House to Home advisory committee of Mid-Florida Community Services as well as Hernando County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
