Major Michael F. Sheehan was born and raised in Winchester, MA. He graduated from the United States Military Academy (USMA) and commissioned as an Infantry officer in 2010. He completed a transfer into Public Affairs in 2021. Major Sheehan has served in various positions in the 2nd Infantry Division, the 75th Ranger Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and USMA. Following his transfer into Public Affairs he commanded the 55th Public Affairs Company (Combat Camera) at Fort Meade, MD. He currently serves as the Public Affairs Officer for the 4th Infantry Division. Major Sheehan and his wife have been married for twelve years and have a seven-year-old daughter and a two-year-old son.
