LTC Sal Messina, USA

25th Infantry Division


LTC Sal Messina currently serves as the Division G6 for the 25th Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He has degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security, and Operational Studies and maintains a CISSP certification. LTC Sal Messina was commissioned as a Signal Officer in 2009 and has served in a variety of conventional and Special Operations units throughout his career. His assignment history includes the 82d Airborne Division, 101st Airborne Division, 10th Special Forces Group, 3rd Special Forces Group, 1st Special Forces Command, and other SOF assignments on Fort Bragg. He has deployed several times in support of combat operations in multiple Areas of Responsibilities. His awards and decorations are commensurate with an officer of his rank and time in service. LTC Messina hails from North Carolina and his hobbies include competition shooting and rock climbing.
