Alyssa Marszalek is a junior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Cybersecurity at the University of North Georgia. Over the summer, she attended the DoD SMC Monterey Phoenix internship analyzing emergent behaviors. Within the university’s Cyber Unit, she serves as an element leader, where she mentors students in cybersecurity training, manages the organization’s social media presence, and supports cybersecurity events and training exercises. Although she is pursuing a civilian career rather than commissioning, Alyssa aspires to pursue a career in computer science and cybersecurity supporting the Department of Defense.
