Cadet Sebastian M. Hyjek is a rising sophomore at The Citadel and a member of the Honors College, pursuing a degree in Cyber Operations. His interests include offensive cybersecurity, exploit development, reverse engineering, and software engineering. He enjoys building technical projects, competing in cybersecurity challenges, and deepening his knowledge of the field's emerging technologies. At The Citadel, Cadet Hyjek currently serves as a Cadre Corporal, mentoring and instructing incoming freshman cadets. Looking ahead, he hopes to build a career as a cybersecurity researcher and a red teamer in service of the United States.
