For the past 15 years, the trend of Industry 4.0 has promised manufacturing leaders process efficiencies and increased value by investing in new technology tools. But the question remains: which of those tools truly matter, and which are all just hype? In this session, Fred Tillman will address this question by dissecting three years of industry data that points to how much the U.S. manufacturing industry has—or hasn’t—realized the promise of Industry 4.0. Fred will also be joined by Duane Clement of Data Inventions – a software provider and member of ECI’s strategic alliance group – to discuss his thoughts on the state of Industry 4.0 and its impact on how organizations manage their machinery.
