Innovation Showcase
As the U.S. Department of War (DoW) continues to defend its vast and increasingly complex digital ecosystem, the need to incorporate its data and cyber risk management at strategy into their operational plans has become ever more critical. Threat actors continue to raise the bar on their tactics and tools that they bring to the Cyber fight. Commanders must now begin to understand operational readiness and resilience int the context of how agentic AI proactively integrates critical security controls into their operational planning rather than being a bolt-on at the end. This session will explore the transformative potential of agentic AI, smart data analytics, and compliance frameworks in revolutionizing the DoD's cybersecurity posture. By harnessing the power of AI as a strategic advantage, operational readiness is greatly improved by enhanced threat detection, improved incident response, and ensuring synchronization of risk between operational and security controls which commanders have always managed in their operational domain. Key Discussion Points: • The current state of cyber risk management in the DoD and the challenges posed by emerging technologies • How agentic AI can be leveraged to synchronize risk management between operational demand and security controls • The role of smart data analytics in evaluating cyber risk in context of operational decisions • Understanding how agentic AI can automatically create required compliance documentation without added overhead • Strategies for integrating AI-driven solutions into both operational planning and the associated cybersecurity architectures that support combat power By the end of this session, attendees will gain a contextual understanding of how agentic AI modernizes both operational and cyber risk management strategies and proactively manage evolving threat vectors.
