Tracks: Innovation Showcase

Government agencies are rapidly deploying AI across mission-critical operations to protect citizen wellbeing and national security. This momentum brings risks, including bias, opacity, safety failures, and governance gaps that must be managed. This session highlights how government agencies can adopt the Fiddler unified AI Observability and Security platform as their command center for agentic and predictive applications. The solution provides continuous monitoring to detect performance degradation, deep root cause analysis for actionable decision-making, and governance insights with audit trails for regulatory compliance. The command center is complemented with guardrails that help prevent harmful outputs and data exposure.

We will share a case study on Fiddler's work with the Defense Innovation Unit on Project AMMO (Accelerated MLOps for Maritime Operations). Fiddler provided post-deployment monitoring and image explainability focused on underwater mine countermeasures in contested environments and reduced model retraining time by 97 percent. Following the successful prototype, Project AMMO transitioned to production with the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific.
