The presentation will assist employers to determine their responsibilities under Federal and State laws when a chemical release occurs during transportation, at an industrial facility, the home, or other locations. The presentation will discuss OSHA requirements when responding to a spill, and will also outline reporting and response requirements under Federal and State environmental law. The presentation will also include examples of actual chemical release responses, lessons learned, and provide information to help employers prepare for actual chemical release events.
