Safety & A Multigenerational Workforce

Safety in the workplace varies among generations due to differing attitudes, experiences, and technological familiarity. Baby Boomers often favor structured, instructor-led training and value face-to-face interactions. Gen X tends to prefer independent learning and self-paced online courses. Millennials and Gen Z are digital natives, comfortable with interactive, technology-driven learning environments. Generational differences in communication styles can affect how safety information is shared and understood. Bridging these gaps requires tailored training and inclusive safety policies.
