* LEARN: CTE Instructor Innovation and Development
This session gives CTE instructors a clear, practical way to keep their programs aligned with rapidly changing tech careers in IT, cybersecurity, AI, and data. Using CompTIA’s learning materials as the backbone, participants will explore current industry practices and technical advancements, then see how to translate them into classroom-ready teaching strategies and projects. Instructors will experience how to organize courses around CompTIA-aligned pathways and micro-credentials, use performance-based labs and assessments to build real-world skills, and guide students toward industry-recognized certifications and stackable badges. We’ll highlight simple ways to integrate these resources into existing courses, support diverse learners, and use learner data to adjust instruction. Attendees will leave with sample course outlines, a credential roadmap, and concrete next steps for implementing or strengthening IT, cyber, AI, and data credential opportunities in their programs.
