* LEARN: CTE Instructor Innovation and Development
Using real-world, global challenges can more deeply engage students in CTE content and lead to enduring interest in career pathways. This session for administrators will provide an overview of free tools from Digital Promise Global and ACTE available for use by any CTE educator. You will leave this session with an understanding of which workforce readiness skills are important for success in the global economy and how easy it is for educators to integrate them into what they are already teaching. A discussion of micro-credentials to improve teaching practice will be included. Resources will include examples of engaging CTE projects, online professional development courses for students and educators, industry videos, as well as an administrator’s guide and self-reflection tool.
