When leading Special Education Environments, it is easy to forget the importance of feedback in creating a collaborative culture of support among Special Education Providers. There is a science to feedback. Our students and staff need to learn how to give it and accept it. This session will help leaders understand the different types of feedback people provide and create a culture that encourages feedback and uses it to grow everyone. Key topics include understanding the purpose of feedback and the barriers to both giving and receiving it. In addition, a focus on how to overcome those barriers will support a coherent narrative of growth for leaders of special education. Participants will leave with actionable tools to create a culture of feedback in their settings.
