Advancing Equity: Practices for All Learners
Do you want to equip every educator in your building with practical tools to proactively address student behavior? Are you looking for an efficient and sustainable way to structure professional learning? In this session, we share a proactive approach to classroom management grounded in behavior science. We demonstrate how administrators can support educators in designing instruction that prevents problem behavior through explicit teaching, practice, and feedback delivered in short cycles throughout the school day. Anchored in High Leverage Practices, the session highlights how low intensity, educator delivered strategies can be embedded within an instructional sequence to strengthen both academic engagement and behavioral outcomes. Through practical scenarios, participants explore how to align instructional design with evidence based behavior principles and leave with ready to use materials to implement a professional learning series that promotes safe, predictable learning environments for all students.
