Mental health placement for students with disabilities is part of a continuum that spans pre‑placement decision‑making, treatment or hospitalization, and intentional reentry to school. This session explores how special education leaders strengthen continuity through effective communication, planning, and shared responsibility before, during, and after placement. Emphasis is placed on aligning teachers, service providers, and families to ensure placement changes do not disrupt learning, relationships, or access.
