Mr. Roberts was appointed to the Senior Executive Service (SES) on 19 March 2017. He served in several senior financial management roles within the Department of Defense to include the following: • Assistant Deputy Commandant for Program and Resources (Resources), Headquarters Marine Corps. • Chief Financial Officer for the Army National Guard. • Director of Accountability and Audit Readiness, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Hampton University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Roberts has over 25 years of experience in creating highly successful financial and operational strategies, providing leadership in creating dynamic, highly motivated, efficient, and customer-centric organizations within the public and private sector.
