Greg previously served as the first Deputy Chief Digital and AI Officer (DCDAO) for Business Analytics at the Department of Defense (DoD), overseeing divisions responsible for CJADC2 experimentation, performance management, and the Advana data platform. Before that, he was the Deputy Comptroller for Enterprise Data and Business Performance, advising top DoD leadership on data-driven decision-making, digital transformation, and performance management. Earlier, Greg led the Chief Financial Officer Data Transformation Office, where he developed the first Defense Financial Management Data Strategy and launched Advana. Prior to that, he played a key role in DoD’s financial management and audit remediation efforts, shaping data analytics strategies and business integration initiatives. Greg began his DoD career as a solution architect for the Defense Agencies Initiative, implementing a standard financial management system. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Bates College and studied abroad at James Cook University in Australia.
