Amy is an experienced public and private sector leader with over 20 years of experience. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) who has coached a diverse range of clients, including government leaders, hospital administrators, and professionals across various industries. Amy is skilled in administering various assessments and has coached Senior Executive Service candidates, providing guidance on their Executive Core Qualifications. Amy was a U.S. government civil servant for 15 years, holding progressively complex positions at the Departments of Navy, Defense, and Veterans Affairs (VA). As the Chief of Staff and Executive Director for Operations for multiple Chief Financial Officers at VA, she shaped successful budget requests, Congressional testimony, and financial reporting. She also served as the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) and Executive Director of the Human Capital Services Center at VA, where she expanded development opportunities for the VA's more than 600,000 employees, contractors, and academic affiliates. Amy is an avid learner and creator of solutions that benefit others. During her time at the VA, she created the Department's first Learning Podcast and gave a VA TEDx Talk titled "The Future is Disco". Amy holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration, and she has completed executive training programs at Harvard and the University of North Carolina. She is the proud wife, daughter, niece, and cousin of veterans from various military branches.
