Kim Farington is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), successful entrepreneur, and respected public servant of 33 years. As an astute and dedicated steward of America’s finances, Kim led major financial reforms at the White House, Department of Defense/War, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Office of Personal Management, already saving taxpayers over $1 billion. Upon her retirement from government service as the Chief Financial Officer from the $100 billion First Responder Network Authority, Kim founded KTech, a small business focused on financial management, cybersecurity, and human capital management. Kim is also an inventor and holder of three patents. She earned an associate’s degree from Indiana University, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Excelsior College, a Certificate for Executive Leadership in Artificial Intelligence from the Partnership for Public Service, and a Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education. In addition to being a CPA, she is a recipient of the Secretary of Defense’s Exceptional Civilian Service Medal, Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist, former Board member of Excelsior College’s National Cybersecurity Institute in Washington, DC, and current member of the Indianapolis School of Liberal Arts Advisory Board at Indiana University. Kim is currently a candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia and will bring accountability to government programs. She will do this by exposing and eliminating fraud, waste, and inefficiencies, to the benefit of all Americans.
