Akira Kumada is the SOLAMENT® Product Manager- High-performance product development and sales section of TAKISADA-NAGOYA CO.,LTD., Japan. Akira started his job career with Sumitomo Metal Mining CO.,LTD., leading company of inorganic nano functional materials development after he graduated from Chuo University. After 20 years experience of semiconductor material business, he moved to infrared ray absorbing nano-materials research & development and expanded his working field to the global technical marketing of remarkable IR absorbing material, SOLAMENT® in recent 10 years. He tried to explore the business of SOLAMENT® to heat blocking industrial application such as window film, automotive interlayer, transparent plastic roof etc., and other functions such as heat generation. His new challenge of IR absorbing yarn/textile innovation started with TAKISADA-NAGOYA company in 2025, and now he is focusing on world-wide commercialization of SOLAMENT® textile.
