Thomasine is a seasoned expert in fashion and sustainable materials with 30 years of industry experience. More recently she served as Director of Material Innovation + Design at the Material Innovation Initiative (MII), a think tank focused on accelerating the development and commercialization of next-gen sustainable materials for the fashion, home, and automotive sectors. At MII, she worked closely with global innovators for brand readiness and led efforts to educate stakeholders across the industry. Previously, Thomasine worked at leading brands including Ralph Lauren, Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Sperry where she held directorial and VP roles in design. She currently consults with material start-ups and global brands to accelerate the integration of sustainable innovation into mainstream fashion.
