LTC Adam Brinkman is a 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He received his commission through the University of Nebraska’s Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program and has served as an active-duty Signal Officer from that time to present. He has been assigned to multiple Army and Special Operations Units at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, Fort Leavenworth, KS, and Fort Liberty, NC. He has numerous Combat Deployments to Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan with Operational Deployments to Korea and Qatar. LTC Brinkman is a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College and holds a Master’s Degree in Military Arts and Sciences. He is currently serving as the 25th Infantry Division G6. LTC Brinkman’s awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal with C device, the Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal, the Presidential Unit Citation, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award, the Valorous Unit Award, the Meritorious Unit Award, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, The Korean Defense Service Medal, the NATO Medal, Parachutist Badge, Australian Parachutist Badge, and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge. LTC Brinkman is married to Ms. Kara Bonavia and they have two children.
