Ensign Carson Schene was born in Dixon, CA. His hobbies include camping, shooting, and reading. He graduated the Naval Academy in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in History. While at the academy, he participated in boxing and dodgeball. He had a Midshipman cruise onboard USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44) and served as the Executive Officer on Yard Patrol Craft. He was actively involved with the Squad with Autonomous Teammates Challenge (SWATC) club, now named Adaptive Rapid Engagement Squadron (ARES). This club was focused on integrating unmanned systems and electronic warfare into infantry tactics. ENS Schene is currently serving as Unmanned Operations Center Department Command and Control Division Officer at Unmanned Surface Vessel Squadron THREE. Following his tour at USVRON THREE, he will serve a single-longer divisional officer tour onboard USS RUSSELL (DDG 59).
