John Fokker is Vice President of Threat Intelligence Strategy at Trellix, where he leads the Threat Intelligence Group (TIG). In this role, he directs global teams that deliver 24/7, mission-critical intelligence to empower Trellix customers, industry partners, and law-enforcement agencies with actionable insight into the evolving cyber-threat landscape. Prior to joining Trellix, John served with the Dutch National High-Tech Crime Unit (NHTCU), the Netherlands’ elite police unit focused on combating advanced cybercrime. During his tenure, he supervised numerous large-scale investigations and international takedown operations targeting major cybercriminal networks. Before his law-enforcement career, John served in the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps, where he specialized in Maritime Special Operations. John is a member of Europol EC3’s Internet Security Advisory Group, and he is a frequent speaker on the intersection of cybercrime, national security, and global intelligence sharing.
