Kathleen Creighton is a board member and consultant. She currently serves as an Independent Director for the West Bend Insurance Company and the Military Women’s Memorial. Ms. Creighton retired from the U.S. Navy in 2021 following a 33-year career, including six years of service as a Rear Admiral. She was an Information Warfare (IW) Flag Officer specializing in cybersecurity, information technology modernization, network operations and C4ISR capabilities. Key leadership roles included Director, Command, Control, Communications and Computers at U.S. Indo Pacific Command, where she directed cyberspace operations and enabled assured communications for 375,000 U.S. forces in theater and Deputy Commander, Joint Force Headquarters, DOD Information Network where she led its secure, operate and defend mission for global DoD networks, supporting 1.3 million network assets and 2 million users worldwide. Ms. Creighton also served as the Navy’s Director of Cybersecurity, where she designed Navy-wide cybersecurity, IT and cloud strategy policy and governance for 607,000 Navy personnel, and as the Director, IW Integration, where she developed Navy IW strategic priorities, resources and requirements management and delivered C4ISR, electronic warfare and IW capabilities. Ms. Creighton is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and was commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps program. She graduated from the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management.
