Alex Berzins partners with strategic accounts for UiPath, enabling agentic automation and artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) solutions within the Department of War. At UiPath, Alex drives rapid deployment of automation solutions that boost productivity and streamline workflow / business processes by combining AI agents, robots, and people, to solve critical challenges for the DoW. Alex spent the last 30+ years innovating solutions for the DoD/DoW as technology has evolved in support of Supply Chain Integration, Customer Platforms, Process Intelligence and Agentic Automation. At International Business Machines, Alex led their Supply Chain Architecture practice to enable integration solutions across public sector. His work created a supply chain “Control Tower” for the U.S. Navy that combines enterprise, legacy and feeder systems on a single pane of glass. He evolved this concept with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) creating an online storefront for both materials and supply chain data. He has been central to multiple ERP programs though their evolution. Alex has further expanded his experience deploying low-code/no-code SaaS solutions at Salesforce, Celonis, and UiPath in support of audit, financial process optimization, and supply chain. Alex started his DoD focused career as an U.S. Navy Supply Corps Officer where he served active-duty tours onboard USS Vincennes (CG-49), in support of NAVSUP at the Naval Aviation Depot at North Island and as part of the Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Industrial Supply Centers (COMFISC) staff in San Diego, CA. Alex entered service via the Reserve Officers Training Command (ROTC) pipeline while earning his degree from Stanford University.
