With more than 25 years of public relations experience in the distilled spirits industry, Amy Preske served as the dedicated communications executive for Sazerac Company’s Buffalo Trace Distillery, the third-largest distilled spirits company in the world. In 2023 Amy left Sazerac Company and started her own public relations firm, Booze PR. Here Amy blends her two passions, bourbon and tourism – to help distilleries and tourism entities build and grow their business. In 2026, Amy was named Communicator of the Year, Icons of Whisky, at the World Whiskies Awards, America. Amy is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She is also a member of the PRSA Thoroughbred Chapter and currently serves as the APR Chair and Secretary. Amy holds a Master of Arts in public relations from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in public relations. She is a member of Bourbon Women, Whiskey Chicks and Lexington Bourbon Society.
