Bryan Frieders serves as the Director of Health and Safety at Redrock Entertainment, managing global public safety operations for large-scale festivals, stadium concerts, touring productions, and international live events. A nationally recognized expert in event safety, disaster management, and emergency operations, Bryan has built a distinguished 31-year career developing resilient safety systems for some of the world’s most complex and high-profile venues. Under the Redrock brand, Bryan leads multidisciplinary teams responsible for fire and life safety, risk assessments, medical integration, threat mitigation, crowd management, and command-and-control systems. His leadership ensures safe, efficient operations for events that attract hundreds of thousands of attendees worldwide. Before joining Redrock, Bryan served as Fire Chief for the City of Pasadena, overseeing emergency response operations, major-event safety planning, and the citywide Emergency Operations Center. His background includes serving as Area Commander for the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl Game, as well as Incident Commander for numerous complex emergencies, including large wildfires and major multi-casualty events. Bryan is a Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot, CPSE Chief Fire Officer, and FEMA-certified Type-III Incident Commander. He continues to influence the global event safety field through leadership, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to protecting attendees and event staff.
