Federal Chief Technology Officer
Omnissa

Chris Betz is the Chief Technology Officer for Omnissa Federal, where he works closely with government customers, executive leadership, product teams, and field organizations to align technology strategy with mission outcomes. With more than 30 years of experience across the IT spectrum, Chris brings a practitioner’s perspective shaped by roles spanning helpdesk support, systems administration, engineering, architecture, and executive leadership. Chris began his career serving eight years in the United States Army as a Signal Support Systems Specialist, where he built the technical foundation that launched his career in IT. That experience continues to influence his focus on resilient, mission-ready systems designed to operate in contested, degraded, and disconnected environments. Throughout his career, Chris has remained focused on customer success, helping organizations modernize IT, improve digital employee experience, and strengthen enterprise security. He brings deep expertise across the Omnissa platform, including unified endpoint management, identity and access, automation, and Horizon virtual desktop infrastructure, developed through years of hands-on work with enterprise and federal customers. In his current role, Chris leads technology strategy for Omnissa’s federal business, helping agencies deploy secure, scalable solutions that balance flexibility with control while supporting evolving Zero Trust and compliance requirements. Chris lives in Manitou Springs with his wife, Sarah. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and exploring the outdoors—usually with a good cup of coffee in hand.
