Ms. Alee Long is the Defense Information Systems Agency’s program manager for the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability, a contract delivering a first-of-its-kind multi-vendor enterprise cloud solution for the Department of Defense. In this role, she leads a program management office including a 50-person cross-functional team. Additionally, Long oversees the contract management ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition policies and support for the entire DoD enterprise. She orchestrated the establishment of the JWCC program office, standing up the acquisition team. She developed and implemented a robust financial requirement budgeting and tracking system to ensure all funding actions were tracked and obligated for six products delivered by DISA Hosting and Compute. She is also leading the JWCC contract follow-on effort titled JWCC Next. Prior to stepping into the program manager role and serving as the deputy program manager, Long was the first acquisition lead for the JWCC contract where she stood up the acquisition team and ensured they were postured to provide contract oversight and support for each of the cloud service providers. She’s also worked as a requirements control section chief and contracting officers representative at DISA. Long is a recipient of the Dianne McCoy Award for Excellence in Acquisition (2023) and the DoD Chief Information Officer Award (2023) and nominee for Defense Scoop Top 50 Most Inspiring Up and Comer (2025).
