Dan Turissini is a systems engineering/ integration innovator and leading expert in trusted managed services, Daniel has achieved Trusted Authority certifications for Public/ Private enterprises, pivotal in achieving a vision of implementing the next generation of Cybersecurity. A serial entrepreneur and expert consultant, providing advise, education and training in Information Assurance/ Cybersecurity Policy, Practices and Technology for three decades. Lead trainer for the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies Cyber-Skilled Mariner Courses, has been a guest expert lecturer in Cyber/ Risk management at Marymount University, is a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Certified Assessor and Instructor and an ISO/IEC 27K Lead Auditor. A Lifetime member and former AFCEA Board Member, Daniel Chairs its Homeland Security Committee and has actively evangelize for the protection of Critical Infrastructure and Citizen privacy at global events. On AFCEA’s Educational Foundation Board dedicated to providing educational incentives, opportunities and assistance in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. BS degree from the US Merchant Marine Academy (receiving its Alumni’s Outstanding Professional Achievement Award) and a Master’s from the George Washington University, he also completed credit hours at the graduate level beyond master's study towards a Doctorate in Systems Engineering & Applied Sciences, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity.
