Heath Thompson serves as the General Manager of Kingbrook Rural Water System, Inc., where he reports to a seven-member board of directors. In this role, he oversees the acquisition, construction, maintenance, and operation of a system that provides safe and reliable water for domestic use throughout the corporation’s service area. With more than 30 years of experience in the water industry, Heath is a certified Class III Water Treatment and Class II Water Distribution Operator. His career includes service as Water/Wastewater Superintendent for the City of Howard, Operations Specialist with Kingbrook Rural Water, General Manager of Sioux Rural Water System, Inc., and his current leadership at Kingbrook. Heath believes that access to quality water is not only essential for survival, but also foundational for the development and growth of communities and regions. In addition to his professional work, Heath has served his community as Chairman of the Miner County Commission and as a member of the Howard City Council.
