Jonathon Oldmixon is an Assistant Director in GAO’s Forensic Audits and Investigative Service team. He leads teams of data analysts, criminal investigators, and auditors in work to identify fraud and improper payments in federal programs. His work has identified more than a billion dollars in improper payments and thousands of cases of fraud, waste, and abuse of government resources. His work has also helped improve how federal agencies proactively manage fraud risks by adopting the leading practices of GAO’s A Framework for Managing Fraud Risks in Federal Programs.
