Matthew Robinson is a Special Agent at the Small Business Administration, Office of Inspector General (SBA-OIG). Matthew Robinson joined the SBA-OIG Washington, D.C. Field Office in June 2021. His responsibilities include conducting complex criminal investigations concerning Pandemic loan fraud including the Paycheck Protection Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loan, Shuttered Venue Operators Grant, and the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. Matthew has 18+ years of Civilian Federal service. Matthew previously served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State, Office of Inspector General for 7 years, a Special Agent for the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration for 2 years and held various law enforcement positions at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing for 8 years. Matthew is an Alpha Phi Sigma graduate of York College of Pennsylvania and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Hood College. He became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2019. Matthew also served in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard retiring after 23 years of total Military service.
