Dr. Lesh is an accomplished associate professor at the Ross College of Education at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida, with a rich background in the field of Exceptional Student Education (ESE). With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Lesh has navigated through a diverse range of positions—from a special education classroom teacher for students with emotional and behavioral disorders, to ESE compliance at the district level, and serving as a Response to Intervention/Multi-Tiered System of Supports Professional Development Specialist, to a high school dean. As the coordinator of the ESE Master’s program and a professor on research and methodology in the doctoral program, she continues to influence future educators and researchers. Lesh actively participates in the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) at the local, state, and national/international levels, including leadership roles as CEC president at the local and state level, and as the 2020 President of CEC International.
