Kim has been working at Grafton for over 36 years, starting as a Direct Support Professional, and ultimatley moving into the role of Chief Operating Officer and the President of Ukeru Systems. She spearheaded the effort at Grafton to reduce restraint and seclusion, a process that has received national and international recognition. Kim is a dynamic and compelling speaker and has presented at many conferences including the Association of Childrens Residential and Community Services (ACRC), the Joint Commission, the Child Welfare League of America, Open Minds, and the National Association of Case Management, among others. She has presented webinars for the US Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights, the Autism Society, the Puget Sound Educational Service District Workers' Compensation and Unemployment Pool, and USI. She has been a guest on many podcasts including the Crisis Jam Learning Community, the State of Education Podcast, Advocating 4 Kids.
