Dr. Sue Ann Bube is a nationally recognized special education leader, former district Special Education Director, and founder and CEO of Dynamic Education Consulting & Solutions (DECS). She currently serves as a statewide consultant to the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), where she leads the redesign of the state’s Nonpublic Agency (NPA) authorization, oversight, and placement decision infrastructure. With more than two decades of experience across district, state, and higher education systems, Dr. Bube specializes in high-stakes placement decisions, compliance systems, program reviews, and corrective action under state oversight. Her work focuses on building legally defensible, educationally sound systems that improve outcomes for students with complex behavioral and mental health needs. Dr. Bube is also an adjunct professor and a sought-after national presenter on special education leadership, governance, and workforce development.
