Dr. Shani Challenor is a special education leader, movement-based educator, and founder of the Challenor Challenge. Known as a “Shiftologist–Neurodiva,” she integrates creative movement, inclusive practices, and technology to support diverse learners. She is passionate about recognizing and honoring neurodivergent brilliance, ensuring all students’ strengths are seen, valued, and respected. As President of the Nassau County NY Alliance of Black School Educators, she advocates for culturally responsive leadership and equitable education for Black and Brown students. Her work centers on highlighting student strengths, elevating stakeholder voices, and transforming learning environments through innovation and empathy.
