Heather H. Dodd serves as the Director of Pupil Services for Willoughby-Eastlake Schools in Northeast Ohio. With 29 years of experience in public education, Heather has dedicated her career to supporting students with diverse needs, empowering educators, and advocating for equitable access to resources and opportunities. Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education (Secondary Transition) from Clemson University. Her professional credentials include Ohio licensure in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8) and Special Education (Grades K-12), a Transition to Work endorsement from Kent State University, and a Principal’s License from Cleveland State University. Throughout her tenure, Heather has transitioned from the classroom to administration, serving as an intervention specialist in co-teaching and resource room settings, a transition coordinator, and a special education supervisor. As Director of Pupil Services, she is passionate about ensuring students graduate prepared for their next steps—whether pursuing further education, military service, or the workforce. Beyond student advocacy, Heather is equally committed to the professional growth of specialists and the development of educational leaders. She takes pride in fostering a workplace culture rooted in innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Outside of her professional life, Heather is a devoted wife and a proud mother of three boys: a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, a current Ohio State junior, and a high school sophomore who lives for the baseball field.
