Susan Stusek
Intervention Specialist
Willoughby Eastlake City School District
Susie Stusek has worked as an Intervention Specialist in the Willoughby Eastlake City Schools District for 21 years, supporting students with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs. For 13 years, she worked with students with emotional and severe behavioral challenges and completed coursework in trauma-informed care while serving on the school’s trauma care team. Over the past 8 years, she has worked with students with multiple disabilities, helping them develop the skills they need to participate meaningfully in the school environment. She has served as the department chair for 8 years. As an Intervention Specialist, Susie is committed to supporting students in their academic, functional, social-emotional, and behavioral growth. Her goal is to help every student have a positive school experience and develop the skills needed to be successful both in school and beyond. Susie has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Moderate-Intensive, K-12) at Bowling State University. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Special Education Supervision. Susie is the mother of four wonderful girls. They keep her busy with gymnastics, soccer, cross country, track, and softball games.
