Tammy Brooks is an Eligibility Coordinator with Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia and has more than 30 years of experience serving students, families, and educators in both general and special education. In her current role, she facilitates special education eligibility meetings, supports IDEA and Section 504 compliance, mentors eligibility coordinators, and develops and delivers professional learning for staff. Her career has included experience as an educational diagnostician, special education teacher, and general education teacher, providing her with a broad perspective on evaluation, eligibility, instruction, and collaboration. Tammy is passionate about supporting thoughtful, data-informed decision-making and strengthening the practices that help educators and teams better serve students with disabilities.
