He has held diverse positions ranging from substitute teacher to university professor. He resides in Fresno California with his wife and their four daughters. Zach's academic achievements include a bachelor's degree (B.A.) in liberal studies, master's degree (M.A.) in special education from Fresno State University, and a doctorate in education leadership (Ed.L.D) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
