Dana Bossio is an experienced school psychologist with nearly two decades of leadership in school-based mental health and systems improvement. She currently serves as a consultant for Cooperative Educational Services (C.E.S.), where she has supported the development and implementation of a statewide trauma-informed care initiative funded by the Connecticut State Department of Education, as well as training and consultation in psychological assessment, restorative practices, and school climate. In the first fifteen years of her career, Dana served as a school psychologist and Teacher Leader for the School Psychology and Social Work departments in Fairfield, CT, providing supervision, professional development, and consultation on complex cases. Her work has focused on trauma-informed practice, social-emotional learning, suicide prevention, and universal mental health screening, while supporting districtwide initiatives related to staff wellness, equity, and school climate. She has been a voting member of the Connecticut Suicide Advisory Board since 2023 and currently serves as the co-chair of Connecticut’s Trauma-Informed School Mental Health Taskforce (TISMH).
